The Coco Café and Sugar Lounge opened in October 2008 and has been a hit since, providing locals and visitors with quality coffees and nibbles.

A traditional sweet shop with a modern twist. Our customers can enjoy coffees, teas, cakes and biscuits, patisseries, croissants, scones, soup and savoury quiches in the relaxed, charming atmosphere of our sugar lounge reminiscent of the film ‘Chocolat’.

The Angel Inn is just 300 yards from Golden Square in the centre of Petworth. The inn, which has medieval origins, has recently undergone a complete refurbishment. The unspoilt bar boasts ships beams, wooden and slate floors, stone walls and three fireplaces, one of which is used to spit roast joints of meat.

The Angel Inn is a warm and welcoming Inn; an idyllic base set in the South Downs National Park with much to see and do in the town or from which to explore the many interesting places nearby.There are six comfortable bedrooms, all with an n suite bathroom or shower room. Guests also benefit from free on-site parking.

The Halfway Bridge is just a 3 miles away from Petworth, in the village of Lodsworth. It is a sister Inn to the award-winning Crab & Lobster in Sidlesham, offering the same high standard of quality accommodation, restaurant and service.
The accommodation includes six superb individually styled en-suite rooms (2 double deluxe and 4 double rooms ) and a suite housed in Cowdray Barns, the inn’s former stable yard. All have power showers, baths and a selection of luxurious locally produced toiletries. All have large flat screen TVs with DVD and CD players. A selection of DVD and CDs are available free of charge.

Food is served throughout the day from a menu that offers something for all tastes. From freshly baked croissants served with handmade jams and full English breakfasts to a seasonal lunch menu serving crisp salads, freshly prepared pasta dishes and open sandwiches served on our signature breads, all complimented by a daily specials board which regularly includes The Hungry Guest’s renowned sour dough pizzas.
