Danny Kruger - PACT Talk

Danny Kruger - PACT Talk

7.30pm - 10.00pm

PACT (Petworth Area Churches Together) presents our Autumn Lecture on Friday 13th October at 7.30pm at St. Mary's Church , Petworth GU28 0AD.

Danny Kruger is Chief Executive of the West London Zone, a partnership of charities, working with children and young people. Danny was Chief Executive of Only Connect from 2005 – 2015, a Christian charity helping young offenders to find their way in society.

Danny read History at Edinburgh University and received a DPhil in History from Oxford University in 2000.

Before working at Only Connect Danny was Director of Studies at the Centre for Policy Studies, Chief Leader-Writer at the Daily Telegraph, and Special Adviser to David Cameron MP as Leader of the Opposition. His mother is Prue Leith , the cookery writer and TV presenter.

He founded the charity Only Connect which works with young offenders to reduce re-offending.

They achieve impact in two ways.
First, they work in prisons and across youth justice services, engaging at every point in the custody cycle in order to reduce offending.

Second, they provide ex-offenders with membership of one of their unique clubs in central and west London. The clubs support members to support themselves, unlocking their potential through training, support and creative opportunities. Acting , not only a new skill, but the applause at the end proves that they have succeeded, for once.
