DESCRIPTION:Every Friday  \n10.00am – 11.00am \nEvent details: \n\n\n 	‘Buggy Walk’ is open to all parents/carers of babies & young children in prams\, buggies and carriers (plus older children are welcome to join the walk too!).\n 	Meet at the pavilion on Friday mornings at 9.45am for a 10am buggy friendly circular walk around Petworth Park beginning and ending at Petworth Park Sports pavilion (A buggy-friendly route is suggested which takes approx 45 mins to 1 hour).\n 	The activity is FREE for PPS members\, or join up for as little as £5 annual membership fee.\n 	Group will run all through school holidays and term time and is a great way to active in the fresh air and meet new people in a welcoming and friendly environment.\n 	No pre-booking required.\n\nThe group is a great way for baby to get fresh air within local surroundings\, whilst parents and carers have an opportunity for some gentle exercise and to meet others with similar aged children in a relaxed\, social environment.\nWe would recommend that participants wear comfortable footwear\, bring appropriate clothing for changeable weather\, plus a water bottle and that at least one of the group carry a fully charged mobile phone and map showing the route. There are toilets\, baby change facilities and a coffee bar at the PPS pavilion\, at the beginning and end of the walk. The pavilion is open from 9am to 12pm every Friday morning serving great coffee\, and a range of other hot and cold drinks and snacks. In the event of a Buggy Walk being cancelled due to bad weather\, the group may still enjoy a meet up in the pavilion and make use of the pavilion facilities. \nWalking can improve wellbeing and promote good mental health and hopefully the more relaxed parents are\, the more relaxed their baby will be too. During the walks the potential for new friendships are also being forged\, which is particularly beneficial for parents of similarly aged children to their own. Developing supportive social networks with one another can help them cope with the challenges of parenting. \nThe aim of Buggy Walk is to help parents and carers of new babies and young children to get more active\, enjoy some fresh air in a supportive and social environment\, feel fitter\, feel more energised\, reduce stress\, manage weight\, reduce isolation and have fun. DESCRIPTION:17 – 19 MAY 2024 \nFriday 11.00am – 7.00pm \nSaturday 10.30am- 6.00pm \nSunday 10.30am – 5.00pm \n£10 at the door – free re-admission with programme. \nOr print your own complimentary ticket from this site. \nFollowing nine successful years in Petworth Park\, our next fair is scheduled to be held from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 May 2024. The famous National Trust property in the picturesque market town of Petworth has proved an ideal venue\, attracting thousands of eager visitors. In its spacious marquee\, the Petworth Park Antiques & Fine Art Fair has over 60 exhibitors\, predominantly members of The British Antique Dealers’ Association and LAPADA The Association of Art & Antiques Dealers. They offer for sale a wide range of desirable items from period to modern furniture\, jewellery\, sculpture\, glass\, lighting\, vintage watches and silver to paintings\, drawings\, ceramics\, clocks\, 20th century design objects\, maps\, prints\, enamels\, objects of vertu\, aeronautica and many other decorative and unique works of art spanning the centuries. \nWe are very happy to again work with The National Trust at Petworth House as well as with the local dealer association PAADA and the Petworth Business Association\, creating yet another exciting event. The grand 17th century house boasts an internationally important art collection\, and together with its ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped country park\, it provides a magnificent backdrop for our annual fair. \nThe fair has its own free car park by the marquee – access is from the A272 Tillington Road through the gate at New Lodges. The AA signs will direct traffic to this entrance and not to the main car park on the A283\, where there is a charge of £4 for non-National Trust members. Disabled parking close to the fair entrance. The pedestrian entrance is via the Cricket Lodge gate\, also on the A272\, or via the Cowyard. \nFair visitors enjoy free access to Petworth House during the three day event. National Trust members and Petworth House ticket holders may attend the antiques fair free of charge. \nLight refreshments are available in the restaurant inside the fair\, operated by The Naked Food Company. \nDogs that can be carried and guide/assistance dogs are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Every Friday  \n10.00am – 11.00am \nEvent details: \n\n\n 	‘Buggy Walk’ is open to all parents/carers of babies & young children in prams\, buggies and carriers (plus older children are welcome to join the walk too!).\n 	Meet at the pavilion on Friday mornings at 9.45am for a 10am buggy friendly circular walk around Petworth Park beginning and ending at Petworth Park Sports pavilion (A buggy-friendly route is suggested which takes approx 45 mins to 1 hour).\n 	The activity is FREE for PPS members\, or join up for as little as £5 annual membership fee.\n 	Group will run all through school holidays and term time and is a great way to active in the fresh air and meet new people in a welcoming and friendly environment.\n 	No pre-booking required.\n\nThe group is a great way for baby to get fresh air within local surroundings\, whilst parents and carers have an opportunity for some gentle exercise and to meet others with similar aged children in a relaxed\, social environment.\nWe would recommend that participants wear comfortable footwear\, bring appropriate clothing for changeable weather\, plus a water bottle and that at least one of the group carry a fully charged mobile phone and map showing the route. There are toilets\, baby change facilities and a coffee bar at the PPS pavilion\, at the beginning and end of the walk. The pavilion is open from 9am to 12pm every Friday morning serving great coffee\, and a range of other hot and cold drinks and snacks. In the event of a Buggy Walk being cancelled due to bad weather\, the group may still enjoy a meet up in the pavilion and make use of the pavilion facilities. \nWalking can improve wellbeing and promote good mental health and hopefully the more relaxed parents are\, the more relaxed their baby will be too. During the walks the potential for new friendships are also being forged\, which is particularly beneficial for parents of similarly aged children to their own.
