DESCRIPTION:Every Friday  \n10.00am – 11.00am \nEvent details: \n\n\n 	‘Buggy Walk’ is open to all parents/carers of babies & young children in prams\, buggies and carriers (plus older children are welcome to join the walk too!).\n 	Meet at the pavilion on Friday mornings at 9.45am for a 10am buggy friendly circular walk around Petworth Park beginning and ending at Petworth Park Sports pavilion (A buggy-friendly route is suggested which takes approx 45 mins to 1 hour).\n 	The activity is FREE for PPS members\, or join up for as little as £5 annual membership fee.\n 	Group will run all through school holidays and term time and is a great way to active in the fresh air and meet new people in a welcoming and friendly environment.\n 	No pre-booking required.\n\nThe group is a great way for baby to get fresh air within local surroundings\, whilst parents and carers have an opportunity for some gentle exercise and to meet others with similar aged children in a relaxed\, social environment.\nWe would recommend that participants wear comfortable footwear\, bring appropriate clothing for changeable weather\, plus a water bottle and that at least one of the group carry a fully charged mobile phone and map showing the route. There are toilets\, baby change facilities and a coffee bar at the PPS pavilion\, at the beginning and end of the walk. The pavilion is open from 9am to 12pm every Friday morning serving great coffee\, and a range of other hot and cold drinks and snacks. In the event of a Buggy Walk being cancelled due to bad weather\, the group may still enjoy a meet up in the pavilion and make use of the pavilion facilities. \nWalking can improve wellbeing and promote good mental health and hopefully the more relaxed parents are\, the more relaxed their baby will be too. During the walks the potential for new friendships are also being forged\, which is particularly beneficial for parents of similarly aged children to their own. Developing supportive social networks with one another can help them cope with the challenges of parenting. \nThe aim of Buggy Walk is to help parents and carers of new babies and young children to get more active\, enjoy some fresh air in a supportive and social environment\, feel fitter\, feel more energised\, reduce stress\, manage weight\, reduce isolation and have fun. The Buggy Walks are available to all\, regardless of fitness levels. \nPlease share with family and friends. No need to pre-book\, just turn up! New members can be signed up on the day.

It’s just £5 to play\, with all proceeds donated to Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice. \nThere will be two competitions to find the junior (8 to 15 years) and senior conker champions of 2024. World championship rules apply and all conkers are provided by the organisers. SUMMARY:Buggy Walk at Petworth Park Sports Club
DESCRIPTION:Every Friday  \n10.00am – 11.00am \nEvent details: \n\n\n 	‘Buggy Walk’ is open to all parents/carers of babies & young children in prams\, buggies and carriers (plus older children are welcome to join the walk too!).\n 	Meet at the pavilion on Friday mornings at 9.45am for a 10am buggy friendly circular walk around Petworth Park beginning and ending at Petworth Park Sports pavilion (A buggy-friendly route is suggested which takes approx 45 mins to 1 hour).\n 	The activity is FREE for PPS members\, or join up for as little as £5 annual membership fee.\n 	Group will run all through school holidays and term time and is a great way to active in the fresh air and meet new people in a welcoming and friendly environment.\n 	No pre-booking required.\n\nThe group is a great way for baby to get fresh air within local surroundings\, whilst parents and carers have an opportunity for some gentle exercise and to meet others with similar aged children in a relaxed\, social environment.\nWe would recommend that participants wear comfortable footwear\, bring appropriate clothing for changeable weather\, plus a water bottle and that at least one of the group carry a fully charged mobile phone and map showing the route. There are toilets\, baby change facilities and a coffee bar at the PPS pavilion\, at the beginning and end of the walk. The pavilion is open from 9am to 12pm every Friday morning serving great coffee\, and a range of other hot and cold drinks and snacks. In the event of a Buggy Walk being cancelled due to bad weather\, the group may still enjoy a meet up in the pavilion and make use of the pavilion facilities. \nWalking can improve wellbeing and promote good mental health and hopefully the more relaxed parents are\, the more relaxed their baby will be too. During the walks the potential for new friendships are also being forged\, which is particularly beneficial for parents of similarly aged children to their own. Developing supportive social networks with one another can help them cope with the challenges of parenting. \nThe aim of Buggy Walk is to help parents and carers of new babies and young children to get more active\, enjoy some fresh air in a supportive and social environment\, feel fitter\, feel more energised\, reduce stress\, manage weight\, reduce isolation and have fun. The Buggy Walks are available to all\, regardless of fitness levels. \nPlease share with family and friends. No need to pre-book\, just turn up! New members can be signed up on the day.

DESCRIPTION:18 – 20 OCTOBER 2024 \n7.30pm – 9.30pm \n\n\nThe National Trust and Petworth Festival present a magical musical evening – a sequence of mini-concerts over one evening in four of the majestic state rooms of Petworth House. \n\n\n\nOver the course of the evening you will be entertained in sequence by the harpist Bonnie Scott\, the voice and guitar of The Juno Duo\, pianist Milde Daunoraite and The Marylebone Saxophone Trio – all brilliant final year students at the Royal Academy of Music. Your journey will follow a route that takes in The Grand Staircase\, The Carved Room\, the North Gallery and Chapel. After the second mini-concert ‘interval’ drinks will be available either in The Marble Hall and North Gallery. \n\n\n\nThe remarkable talents on show will be \n\n\n\nChapel – The Juno Duo (voice and guitar) \nCarved Room – Bonnie Scott (harp) \nGrand Staircase – Milde Daunoraite (piano) \nNorth Gallery – The Marylebone Saxophone Trio \n\n\nEvent description: on arrival at the Audit Room (drinks served from 6.45pm)\, audiences will be invited to join one of four groups which will then proceed at 7.25pm to the first of a series of simultaneous concerts\, each of which lasts 20 minutes. Following the first concert\, you will promenade to the second venue in groups for the second performance followed by a 20-minute interval and the third and fourth mini-concerts. The event will finish at approximately 9.30pm. \n\n\nPlease note\, the same programme will be performed on each of the three evenings. \n\n\n\nArrival is via the Church Lodge entrance in Petworth town only for this event.
