SUMMARY:Petworth Spring Festival at Petworth NT
DESCRIPTION:23 MARCH – 14 APRIL 2024 \n10.00am – 5.00pm \nOur Spring Festival will run from Saturday 23 March to 14 April and will include talks\, demonstrations\, a community art installation\, art and craft workshops\, and family activities. \nThe garden team have been busy planting 4000 additional bulbs across the garden and 90 new containers to create an enhanced display that will carpet the gardens with a sea of daffodils. \nOn Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March there will be a two-day Makers Market\, held in partnership with Petworth Pop-Up. \nA highlight of the festival will be a series of talks and demonstration from 23 – 29 March held at the Garden theatre in the Glade. Join experts and specialists including author Robyn Booth\, and Curator of Munstead Wood\, Caroline Ikin share tips on Spring gardening\, and discuss the ‘artist-gardener’ Gertrude Jekyll. Free talks\, no booking required. \nThroughout the festival from 23 March – 14 April families can pick up a free trail to explore the Pleasure Garden and discover 6 nature-inspired willow sculptures while enjoying fun games and activities along the way. \nFrom 3-10 April families can enjoy the Easter holidays with Spring themed crafts in the Battery House studio. Drop in anytime from 10.30-3.30. £3 per child. \nOur local community and volunteers have been busy hand crafting daffodils to create a spectacular display in the Battery House which can be viewed 23 & 24 March\, and 30 March – 14 April. \nFree event\, normal admission to Petworth applies. \nhttps://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/sussex/petworth/events

SUMMARY:Brewery Tour at Langham Brewery
DESCRIPTION:23 MARCH 2024 \n2.00pm – 3.30pm \nA typical tour will last approximately 90 mins (may take longer) with 25 people maximum per tour\, and plenty of beer samples to be enjoyed on the way round. You will also be gifted a free Langham Brewery souvenir glass as part of the tour. \nThere are places available on this days’ tour. \nPlease do call for tour information via \n01798 860861. \nThank you! \nWe’re really happy to accommodate brewery tours for groups of 10+ on other Saturdays and during selected evenings.
