SUMMARY:Petworth Fundraising Concert with UK Forces Veterans Show Band
DESCRIPTION:25 NOVEMBER 2023 \n7.00pm – 10.00pm \nJoin the UK Forces Veterans Show Band\, under the Musical Directorship of Petworth resident Ian Young\, in a fundraising concert raising money for the foodbank centre in Petworth. \nThe band consists of personnel who have served as musicians in the armed forces’ bands\, The Army\, The Band of HM Majesty’s Royal Marines and The Central Band of the Royal Air Force and all are now active professional musicians and will display their versatility with the styles of music that creates a party atmosphere\, including tributes to: \nEarth Wind & Fire\, Chic\, The Drifters\, Tina Turner Tony Bennett and many more. The programme will also include an ABBA singalong. The evening would not be complete without the sounds of Glenn Miller and the foot tapping golden age of swing. \nThere will also be guest appearances from local singers and musicians including Sasha Kramp\, and a Christmas arrangement by Brian Knowles\, so an evening not to be missed. \nThere will be a bar\, raffle and free parking for all attendees. \nFor Tickets for this great event go to – https://bit.ly/3LrqdVI

DESCRIPTION:1 APRIL 2023 \n2.30pm -4.00pm \nPetworth Food Bank Race Against Hunger on April 1st at Petworth Park – why not join us?\n  \nOn April 1st\, some of the Petworth Foodbank team will be taking part in the Race Against Hunger which will follow a 5k route around Petworth Park. Some will be running and others walking. If you just want to do part of the route\, that’s fine too.\n  \nWe will meet outside the United Reformed Church in the centre of Petworth at 2.30pm. \nIf you’d like to join us\, it would be lovely to see you there. We’re asking everyone that takes part to donate £10 online – although how much you choose to donate is entirely up to you.
