Petworth Vision founded in 2012 is a Community Organisation helping to bring generations together and to build strong relationships in and across the Petworth community. In 2015 we became a Community Interest Company allowing us to raise funds to put back into the community. Believing passionately that the future of Petworth depends on young people choosing to live and work in the area Petworth Vision has for several years supported and worked alongside the Love Local Jobs Foundation. Their Dare to Dream programme offers young people an opportunity to change the way they think about themselves, their futures and their place in the world. By reaching out to businesses and individuals for financial support has enabled us to deliver two Dare to Dream programmes held at Midhurst Rother College over the past four years. It is our hope that this life changing programme can continue to be delivered over the coming years
Since 2019 Petworth Vision have been providing a weekly free IT Café offering residents of Petworth and the surrounding areas one to one support with any number of IT issues. Ranging from problems with mobile phones, laptops, computers or printers to uploading photos, using email, social media and on-line banking. In 2024 we introduced a Vocational Training course specifically targeting people wishing to improve their IT skills to enable them to return to the workplace.
We cannot do this vital work without the support and funding from local authorities, grant givers, local businesses and individuals. If you would like to make a difference you can support us by visiting our website petworthvision.co.uk.
