DESCRIPTION:25 MARCH – 12 MAY 2023 \n10.00am – 5.00pm – Tuesday – Friday \n11.00am – 4.00pm – Saturday \n\nWe are delighted to announce the opening of our upcoming exhibition\, ‘Works on Paper’\, which will start on 25th March and run until 12th May. ⁠\n⁠\nThis exhibition showcases a range of fine art created on paper\, from painting and drawing to lithographs\, etchings and collages. It celebrates the diversity of artistic expression that can be achieved with this medium. ⁠\n⁠\nOur exhibition promises to be wide-ranging\, showcasing works from all periods. Artists such as Walter Sickert\, Stanley Spencer\, Kyffin Williams\, Lynn Chadwick\, Adrian Heath\, Fred Yates\, William Heath Robinson will be represented. In addition\, there will be a large collection of works by Erte\, the master of the art deco period. Not quite as well known are a collection of works by the forgotten artist and designer Edward Ridley\, drawn and painted at the beginning of the last century. ⁠\n⁠\nWhether you are a seasoned collector\, or just have an interest in art\, this exhibition will offer something for everyone.⁠

By appointment \nTuesday – Friday. 10am – 5pm/ Saturday 11.00am – 4.00pm \nSunday Closed \n \n`A Classical Eye’. \nThe exhibition will focus on the Grand Tour\, with a wide range of beautiful artworks on show. On offer will be a mixture of tapestries\, oil paintings\, drawings and prints\, as well as a selection of stamped seals beautifully curated by a French collector and classical plasters\, all of which will add to the atmosphere of the antique. Not only will there be old master works\, but also 19th Century paintings\, and even a classically inspired contemporary work or two.

DESCRIPTION:29 OCTOBER 2022 – 10 JANUARY 2023 \n10.00am – 6.00pm \nOttocento and Moncrieff-Bray Gallery are delighted to invite you to the opening of the Modern British Painting and Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition on Saturday 29th October.  This exciting collaboration between our two galleries will highlight works by 20th Century artistic figures including Sven Berlin\, Siegfried Sassoon and Alfred Wallis and a collection of figurative and abstract Contemporary Sculptures including works by Jane Shaw and Will Spankie. The exhibition will run from 29th October to 10th January.

SUMMARY:A European Odyssey at Ottocento
DESCRIPTION:NOW – 26 OCTOBER 2022 \n10.00am – 5.00pm \nWe are excited to show a selection of beautiful and engaging European paintings\, mainly by European artists\, including the very elegant charcoal drawing by Jean Dupas.  This grand work on paper by the French art deco master depicts a procession dedicated to the celebration of love. Venus sits serenely in her chariot surrounded by putti and maidens. Dupas is best known for designing the opulent interior of the SS Normandy\, the most luxurious ocean liner in the golden age of sea travel between the wars.
