Marks & Ayling has been designing beautiful interiors and creating bespoke upholstery since 1985. Found on Petworth High Street is our design studio and showroom, which offers an assortment of fabrics, wallpaper, homeware and inspiration. The design studio is led by Interior Design Director Sarah Ayling, who can enhance any type of living space: from country cottages to London townhouses – working with clients to realise their vision and take them on a journey of design and quality excellence. Having built a rapport with a number of major companies, including Colefax & Fowler, Designer’s Guild and Osborne & Little, there is little we cannot provide.
Reupholstered furniture and soft furnishings from our workshop, overlooked by the iconic Halnaker windmill and tree tunnel, is on display in the showroom showing the quality of our handmade products. With over 40 years experience under his craftsman’s belt, Director Steve Marks and his team use traditional techniques and materials to achieve longer lasting pieces of the highest quality.
