Ottolenghi’s ROVI at Woodfire Camping

Ottolenghi’s Exec and Head Chefs Neil Campbell and Andy Frantzeskos are packing up their knives, grabbing a few ferments from the shelves, and heading to the Sussex countryside for one evening only – to make a feast cooked entirely over fire.

Grilled peas with miso, applewood-smoked labneh, lamb and celeriac turning slowly over the flames. For pudding, we’re doing corn cheesecake with strawberries and a burnt honey whiskey parfait with oat brittle. Plus a few more surprises.

Everything comes from ridiculously close by – Chichester strawberries, wheat milled down the road for our pita, vegetables from farms you could walk to.
