Petworth Community Garden CIC

Petworth Community Garden is a not for profit community group grown for the community by the community since 2005.

We run wheelchair accessible projects for all ages and abilities, including, ‘Learn and Grow Tuesday’ organic gardening sessions, Wednesday ‘Men’s Shed’ sessions, and ‘Thriving Thursday’ Therapeutic Horticulture sessions.

We make delicious home grown home made jams, jellies and chutneys through our ‘Chutneys for Change project, and our Men’ s shed create beautiful bespoke rural crafts through our ‘Crafty Men Working with Wood’ project.

We work with a wide range of the community including low income and more isolated locals, children, young people and families, wheelchair users, adults with learning disabilities or mental health support needs, children with additional needs, and older people among other locals.

We offer an integrated project where people from all walks of life can come together to experience all the health and well-being benefits of community gardening.
