As part of our Descendants Series we invite you to join the live and exclusive interview on Carlos Cruz-Diez with Alicia Mendez Cruz and Maya Binkin, Artistic Director of Newlands House Gallery in Petworth.
Carlos Cruz-Diez was a prominent Venezuelan artist of the Postwar era, know his immersive use of colour, light and movement to engage people on a multisensory level.
Alicia, his granddaughter, was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Today she lives in London, where she heads up the educational department of the Foundation, spreading her grandfather’s research with young people through games, fun activities, and talks.
