The ‘Pint by the Pond’ livestream series is a monthly event that has been developed during lockdown – it’s a chance for the lads to get together virtually, tell a few tales, sing a few songs and have a pint or two.
“..The 19th February event is a Sea Shanty Special – with ‘salty’ guest singers from both New York and Devon. Expect talks about shanty history, much singing and extra special guests, with an aim to replicate the live music nights we are all missing so much.
The Duck Pond Sailors will be opening a bottle or two of Langham Brewery beers during the evening – and toasting our good selves…”

About the Duck Pond Sailors –
‘We are a group of lads that learn and sing traditional sea shanties. We often sing them whilst drinking in local ale houses and have no aim other than singing well and drinking better. We are based on the south coast of England where the sun shines and the beards hang low.’
