The Boy who bite Picasso – Arts Society West Sussex

As a child Antony Penrose first met Picasso when he visited the Penrose family home of Farley Farm, in Chiddingly, East Sussex in 1950. Antony’s parents were Roland Penrose, the curator and biographer of Picasso, and Lee Miller, the photographer. Picasso painted her portrait six time and she photographed him more than 1,000 times and her images illustrated Antony’s entertaining and amusing account of life around Picasso.
Whilst Covid-19 restrictions are in force our Talks will be delivered via Zoom at our usual meeting time, that is to say, at 2:00pm on the 1st Tuesday of the Month. We will email all members with the link to join these Talks in the week before they are due to take place.
