| 6 events,  For the first time in 20 years, a specially curated selection of J.M.W. Turner’s artistic studies of Petworth will be exhibited in the very place that inspired him.  This summer, in collaboration with West Dean College, Petworth House will be hosting a series of courses inspired by our ‘Turner’s Vision at Petworth’ exhibition.  We are delighted to announce the opening of our new exhibition ‘CENTURY OF CHANGE: Art Across Two Continents’. -  A tinderbox of competition and resentments underneath the façade of a picture-perfect couple is ignited when the husband's professional dreams come crashing down. Boxercise is an exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. A comprehensive strength class that targets muscle building and toning using dumbbells, resistance bands, and body weight. Including a variety of exercises to challenge different muscle groups, enhance overall strength, and promote muscle toning. | 9 events,  A fun and low-impact exercise with a multitude of health and fitness benefits – increasing bone density, strengthening pelvic floor and core back muscles, stimulating lymphatic flow, helping coordination and balance, and many more. Jane Bown: Play Shadow offers an intimate portrait of one of Britain’s most revered photographers, Jane Bown (1925–2014), whose quietly powerful black-and-white portraits have become iconic within the canon of twentieth-century photography.

Petworth has much to offer to the visitor. Petworth House is home to a wonderful collection of paintings including local scenes by JMW Turner, the extensive Petworth Park laid out by Capability Brown in the 18th century with its herds of roaming deer around the lakes. There also are festivals, fairs and markets all year long – the list is endless.
